I was an unofficial Travel Agent before I was a REALLY a travel agent! This is how a lot of people begin; planning travel for friends and family but not making money. I wanted to travel but I had no one else to travel with. I posted online asking if anyone wanted to go to Cancun, Mexico with me and ended up winning over 7 of her distant friends and friends of those friends. The next trip I advertised the same way and traveled to Jamaica with 12 more ladies. It wasn't until after that trip I officially became an agent. Five years later, I had my most successful trip with 35 strangers from Tiktok.
